Last weekend, the weather in Lausanne was perfect. That's right- 75 degrees, brilliantly sunny, hint of a breeze perfect. Although I really needed to make head way on my monstrosity of a To-Do list, it just didn't seem right to spend such a perfect weekend inside. So I didn't.
I went on a long run and took a stroll by the lake. I bought an ice cream cone and relaxed at a friend's birthday party. I went on a hike in the beautiful Gruyere hills.
And you know what? It was worth it. Even though my To-Do list was glaring at me Monday morning, and even though I've been working 12-hour days, sometimes you just need a relaxing weekend to soak up the sun.

Some of those pictures are so beautiful they don't look real! You are so lucky to live in such a gorgeous place! And it sounds like perfect weather!
