Although I really enjoyed the wine-tasting portion of my recent vineyard day trip, my favorite part of the trip was definitely the spectacular views. The wine festival was help on one of the last really warm days of fall (so different from the buckets of snow falling on Lausanne now!) and the warm, golden sunshine positively sparkled on the vineyards.
